Hi! I’m Mio. I was born and raised in Japan, and at 14, I moved to Switzerland to attend high school, before relocating to New York to study at NYU. After graduation, I began my career with a Japanese cosmetics company, where I developed a deep appreciation for self-care, immersing myself in the art and principles of Japanese skincare.

I grew tired of the fast-paced city life and moved to Barcelona in 2008, where I began consulting for various beauty companies on a freelance basis. While I enjoyed the more relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle, I also faced a series of personal challenges, which led me to discover Reiki in 2013. I practiced diligently, advancing to the second and third levels over the following year, and ultimately became a Reiki Master in 2017.

Little did I know that I would be able to combine my experience in beauty with Reiki until, in 2022, I developed the concept of Beauty Vibrations. My hope was to create a beauty-focused approach to Reiki that would allow us to benefit from this wonderful, ancient healing technique.

My Reiki therapies incorporate Shigeta Paris products, and the treatments are currently available at the Juno House and Moments Zen Spa in Barcelona by appointment. I also teach Reiki for all four levels of the Usui Japanese system, and the first degree course is available via an online program in both English and Spanish, which incorporates an in-person attunement session.
