Hi, I'm Mio. I was born and raised in Japan, and at 14, I moved to Switzerland for high school before relocating to New York to study at NYU. After graduating, I began my career with a Japanese cosmetics company — and it was there that my deep appreciation for self-care took root, immersing myself in the art and philosophy of Japanese skincare.

In 2008, craving a slower, more intentional way of living, I made my way to Barcelona. I built a freelance consulting practice working with beauty companies across Europe — but beneath the surface, life was asking me to go deeper. A series of personal challenges led me to discover Reiki in 2013, and from the very first experience, I knew I had found something that had a potential to change my life.

I practiced with dedication, advancing through the second and third levels, and became a certified Reiki Master in 2017. What I didn't know then was that my two worlds — beauty and energy healing — were quietly moving toward each other all along.

In 2022, that convergence became Beauty Vibrations. A space where the ancient wisdom of Usui Japanese Reiki meets a conscious, holistic approach to beauty — rooted in the belief that true radiance is not something we create, but something we return to, by coming back to our own authentic frequency.

Today, I offer private Reiki sessions incorporating Shigeta Paris organic skincare, available at Juno House and Moments Zen Spa in Barcelona. I also teach all four levels of the Usui Japanese Reiki system — with the Level 1 course available as a certified online program in English and Spanish, including an in-person attunement.
